One thing I believe is that as sites get bigger, selectors should get shorter.

By this I mean that if you want to create extensible and maintainable, flexible and predictable websites, you should really take care to make your CSS selectors as dev-friendly as possible; i.e. short.

A logotype it’s not a doodle, it’s the synthesis of a process to build an identity. A logotype it’s the base to create a business culture. It’s the beginning of all the company messages.

A logotype it´s not casual, is not random, is not a aesthetic fact; a logotype is a construction, a revolution. Is made to change the world, to change the people.

Today i have to work with some <sup> tags, i’ve found that when i use this tag my line-height change, and my all layout brokes up.

<sup> without modify line-height: {vertical-align: top; position: relative; top: -0.5em;}

Estoy leyendo un libro de diseño, pero no uno de ejemplos, uno de gestión. Es interesante y no es lo que normalmente eligiría como lectura de “tiempo libre” (que cada vez escasea más)… El libro en cuestión es: Publicidad, diseño y empresa. Y lo traigo a colación porque quiero compartir algunos fragmentos. Sé que probablemente sean todas cosas que sepamos, no vamos a descubrir algo completamente nuevo; nunca está de más volverlo a ver, nos da herramientas para hablar con los clientes, una óptica que ayude a comprender un poco más la importancia de nuestra profesión.

Fragmento 1:

Ninguna empresa puede darse a conocer a los públicos externos, ni siquiera a los internos si no logra saber quién es, cómo es, por qué vino al mundo y cómo quiere que se la conozca. Sin el conocimiento de la propia identidad no es posible alcanzar una imagen legítima y perdurable.

Fragmento 2:

La identidad es el “yo” de una institución. En todos los casos representa la piedra fundamental del edificio de la organización.
Se sustenta en la individualidad y en la diferenciación; en lo que es uno comparado con lo que no es, con lo otro.
