One thing I believe is that as sites get bigger, selectors should get shorter.
By this I mean that if you want to create extensible and maintainable, flexible and predictable websites, you should really take care to make your CSS selectors as dev-friendly as possible; i.e. short.

Today i have to work with some <sup> tags, i’ve found that when i use this tag my line-height change, and my all layout brokes up.
<sup> without modify line-height: {vertical-align: top; position: relative; top: -0.5em;}
